EDUCATION IN PANAMA
SCHOOLS IN PANAMA ARE ALL LEVELS WAITING FOR NEW STUDENTS
The courses offered by the education in Panama is quite large, especially for levels higher and vocational education. There is a significant amount of educational institutions at all levels, public and private, however, public education is not what is best evaluated by international organizations.
For the higher levels, there are more than fifty educational institutions scattered throughout the Panamanian territory. Indeed public universities such as Panama, in addition to its campus near Albrook, has sub-offices in different cities deel country.
Newcomers must meet a number of requirements for access to education in Panama.
According to the agreement between the Ministry of Education in Panama should do the following:
- Any foreigner wishing to study in Panama a center of public or private education, or basic, intermediate, a superior specialist may do so if their studies are a regular time and recognized by the Ministry of Education of Panama.
- To study in Panama the student must be enrolled in all subjects concerning the Plan bimonthly study, semester or as appropriate, and in daytime (specialties precertification of the school excepted).
- The student must report to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, where should join the alien registration, fill out a form. If the student is an adult you can do for yourself, otherwise the person responsible must issue a letter duly authenticated by the consulate, which indicates their responsibility for as long as the student is in the country and is committed to taking all economic costs that students have during the term of studies, including the costs of lodging, meals and other expenses related to your studies, you must submit the lease, in our country. This note should be signed and certified by the Consul.
- It must also be filed at the Consulate of Panama receipt of enrollment, claims on the original properly annotated or authenticated by the Consulate and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama, all these documents must be in Spanish or translated by an official translator authorized in Panama, they must also be submitted to the Ministry of Education in our country for the recognition of credits if so requires.
