Revenue reflects an increase of 1.7% in the first quarter

The Ministry of Economy and Finance in a report on the Fiscal Balance of the Non-Financial Public Sector (SPNF) corresponding to the first quarter of 2018 reflects a total Central Government revenue of $ 1,705 million, which reflects a significant increase of 1.7% with respect to the same period of 2017.

In the first quarter of 2018, total expenses increased 4715 million (36.7%), current expenses increased by 15% and capital expenditures reached a figure of $ 918 million, or 1.4% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).

The largest increases are reflected in the Ministries of Education and Health with $ 52 million and $ 26 million respectively.

The income of the SPNF reached the figure of $ 2,746 million, while the total expenses increased by $ 766 million (30.1%).

The current saving was positive in 395 million dollars and financed 41% of the investments.

The deficit of the total balance of the SPNF to March 2018 was -0.9% of GDP.
