CAPAC Expo Habitat 2017 exceeds more than $ 160 million
CAPAC Expo Habitat is one of the most important real estate fairs in Panama that offers residential, beach and commercial property. This fair was held from September 13 to 17. The expo is organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC) and is dedicated entirely to the construction and housing industry.
According to figures by the Organizing Committee of Fairs of the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC) the Expo Habitat 2017 exceeded all expectations by achieving in five days approved mortgage transactions for $ 168.8 million. In this event, 1,824 housing units were commercialized, according to data provided by the 15 banks that offered their services at the expo.
In CAPAC Expo Habitat 2017, housing from $ 40,000 to $ 60,000 was the rank with the highest number of approvals. Alejandro Ferrer, president of the Trade Commission of the CAPAC, said that the results exceeded the projections made by the union, which had been accounted for $ 120 million.
The event also featured exhibitions and talks by experts in construction, security in construction and design. In addition to projects, informative talks and Workshops “Do it Yourself” were offered for this fair.
