Panama hosts first food innovation symposium
On August 4 and 5 2017, the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama will host the First Latin American Symposium on Food Innovation.
The activity will take place within the framework of the seventh version of Panama FoodExpotech, a trade fair that seeks to promote the commercial exchange of products and services, facilitate the tasting of various national and foreign dishes, as well as educate attendees about various themes of the industry.
According to the Engineers Consultants, organizers of the event, the symposium expects the attendance and participation of approximately 200 professionals, businessmen, and students of the field of Food Industry. Topics such as Transgenics, Biotechnology, High Pressure, Biodegradable Packaging, among others.
With speakers from Panama, Colombia, Venezuela and Costa Rica, they will present topics related to the most up-to-date technologies applied to the food industry at national and international levels, such as Nutritional Labeling and Label Regulation, Functional Foods, Sensory Analysis, New Technologies In Food Production, among others.
The symposium is aimed at food engineers, agronomists, and chemists, nutritionists, bromatologists, specialists, and investors.
