Growth of Panama Oeste

In the last 20 years the Panama Oeste sector has grown by 40%. This population growth in cities such as: Arraiján and La Chorrera have surpassed 300 thousand inhabitants. But in addition to the number of inhabitants, it has also varied the lifestyle and, with it, the model of the constructions. The costs of residential projects in Arraiján range from $ 31 thousand to $ 325 thousand, while in La Chorrera can be between $ 40 thousand and $ 400 thousand. Residences and apartments usually have one or two floors and sometimes offer a social area, with an added value previously only possible in the city.

At present, more than 50 housing projects are being built in the district of Arraiján, according to the statistics of Municipal Engineering.

Residential projects in Panama Oeste are benefited with shopping center, Westland Mall, which has more than 35 restaurants, movie theatre, banks, shops, pharmacies and supermarkets.

The banking sector is present in Panama Oeste and most of the banks such as: Banco General, BAC, Banistmo, Global Bank, Banesco, Caja de Ahorros, Multibank, among others, serve the consumption needs, mortgage loans and commercial population. They also offer business banking services.

Housing projects in West Panama have everything to achieve a great development of the area in the coming years.

New Bridge to Panama Oeste

The new bridge will have three car lanes to Panama City and three other routes into the interior of the country and will be built in the northern area of the Las Americas Bridge.

This project also contemplates the construction of a monorail and this new transport system will have double track. The monorail will pass in front of Howard. It starts from the area where the new bridge will be and will parallel the Panama-Arraiján highway.

With the construction of these access roads, they will allow the inhabitants a calm, fast and safe journey to or from the capital.
